Daddy's Birthday Dinner with Susie and Brian

Mommy told me that I had to be on my best behavior at dinner- it was Daddy's birthday and Susie and Brian were in town. They think that bringing my books and toys helped keep me entertained but what they don't know is that I snuck a sip or two (or three!) of Mommy's Sangria at dinner! That sure is some good stuff!! And then I was topped off with Daddy's birthday dessert...I'm not sure what it was but I sure did have one good sugar high from it! Anyways, we all had a great time and it was so much fun seeing my friends again!

Fun with Grandma and Z-Papa

Whew...I'm pooped! Between playing at the Children's Museum with Grandma and getting soaking wet in the "water room" and running around the park with Z-Papa, I really need a nap! I sure did have fun, and the best part is that I can always get them to do things for me that mom and dad won't do (hold me, let me stay up later and skip naps!!)- they should visit more often :)

Mmmmm.... Lemons....

Really, it ain't so bad... Though this lemon would have tasted much better if it came with a cocktail - maybe a nice vodka tonic :-) Instead, all I got was some ice water --- not even any M-I-L-K. My Mom doesn't think I can spell milk... Come on Mom - time to realize I am growing up. Silly Mommy.

What the heck is a Jawa?

My daddy said I looked like a Jawa in this video... what the heck is a Jawa??? I think he is making a dorky Star Wars reference. Daddy really needs to get out more --- he has been hanging out with too many Monsters.

I think I look smashing in this seasons newest toddler style. Another creative fashion blockbuster designed by my Z-Papa... He is super smart.

Holy Heck!!! These things are ALIVE! And lemme tell ya, they are pretty cool. And the best thing is that you can eat them afterwards. Yummy in my tummy.

My mom, the sucker!

So, I have officially suckered my mom into keeping me far away from the gym daycare! I knew if I shed enough tears, that sappy side of her would cave and she wouldn't be able to stand it anymore..so, no more gym daycare for me!! Now, I just have to work on getting out of the real daycare in September-that might be a little trickier...I'll keep you posted!

This is a very sad week for me...one of my favorite people is leaving me to go do bigger and better things (though, I'm not exactly sure what could be better than being with me!). I'll miss you, Marissa...and so will my parents- who will mommy watch her TV shows with now?!

Since I share Marissa (I know, I can't believe I share her with anyone, but my parents say it's good for me to learn to share) with my friend, Kate, we had a good-bye bbq at Kate's house for her...Here's a pix- as you can see, it's not so easy to get all 3 of us to pose at the same time!
